Today's post is a lazy post. I don't have much to say, I'm tired, and I'd like to hunker down and get back to writing.
Given that, here's another example of why I love my German publisher. I know it's hard to see, but in the top left hand corner of this bookmark, they're promoting one of Nora Roberts books, and in the bottom right hand corner is my debut novel. Once again, they've packaged me with a veteran author who has sold millions and millions of books (something that seems far away from where I sit in my basement office this morning). I'm not sure who makes these decisions over there, but if any of Nora Roberts' readers want to read my work, I'm okay with that.

Very neat, Holly. :-)
Guten tag, Frau Kennedy.
Oh, I love those Germans too.
;)
Have you heard that the concept of fairy godmothers originates from German folk tales?
This seems like evidence to me!
Wow, how great for you! Congratulations. :)
Holly, it's a very very cool thing. Many years ago I ran for public office. It was small. Library board. However, it was a presidential election. My name appeared on a ballot with Clinton and Dole. It was a little strange.
Das guten!
I love the book mark. I want one. Bad.
OK I am done with copyedits. I need more sleep but soon it is back to writing for me too.
Hmm, I try to love the Germans. My husband ran the US division of a large German housewares company. They severed his contract BY EMAIL on a Friday in 2005 and he never heard from them again, until they tried to sue him for "stealing company secrets". (About ironing boards and soup ladles????) That's how they asked for his laptop back after he'd sent them ALL his materials and inquired about where to send the laptop months earlier. We didn't even know if they'd honor his contract until a paycheck arrived two weeks later. Das ist COLD! But your books look hot! Congrats.
That is awesome! Congratulations!
I have to tell you, I just stumbled across someone reading The Tin Box today. She was loving it! (I tried to tell her about your blog, but she didn't know what one was ...)
