On another note, I just received some unexpected news that lets me swim with the big fish, at least for a little while! The Penny Tree has been nominated by Romantic Times for a Reviewers Choice Award for Best Women's Fiction.I certainly don't expect to win (take a look at the novels and authors I'm up against below and you'll understand why) but the nomination is truly an honor and a great way to start the new year.

impressive list! I'd be excited if I were you too. Penny Tree's a wonderful story that deserves
to be there.
Don't sell yourself short...you wrote an engaging, humorous, and tear inducing book!
The Penny Tree made me laugh, cry, and really think about things that weren't comfortable to think about.
From my personal POV, Loving Frank was beautifully written but otherwise sleep-inducingly dull dull dull. I have not read the others but you deserve to be on this list. How exciting!
