Moose on the loose

I live near a hamlet where a TV series called Northern Exposure was once filmed.
I rarely watched the show, but I know the opening credits featured a moose wandering down main street. Until today, I'd never seen one myself, but early this morning a moose walked out in front of my SUV in the hamlet and stared at me as I screeched to a halt in front him.
He was... stunning, and when he turned and slowly ambled off down the road as though he owned it, I decided it was a sign
of good luck. I know. I know. He's a lot bigger than a dragonfly, but I'm okay with that.

You came face-to-face with a moose? Wow. That is really crazy. I see deer all the time, but a moose would freak me out. That's cool...

Did someone say MOOSE!!!
I loved seeing moose in Norway.
I am sure they are as lucky as dragonflies.

Occasionally we see moose alongside the mountain roads here in the PNW. They are amazing. They must be good luck.

By the way, I bought a new throw pillow for my couch the other day because it had dragonflies on it. You're rubbing off on me.

I'm so envious! In the four years I lived in northern Minnesota, I never saw a live moose. Bears a-plenty, but no moose.

Glad you were able to stop in time!

As for Northern Exposure, I loved that show.

You've showed us pictures of bears playing on a child's playground set and now share how a moose walked down Main Street a la Northern Exposure. What's next, Holly?!

I loved Northern Exposure. Marilyn was awesome.

Are you ever lucky to have seen a moose!
