If you haven't already read
this article, take a minute and do so. Can you
imagine living in this nursing home?! I'd be diving into closets to avoid this cat every time I saw it meander around a corner. Maybe others would like to know the end is near, but I think I'd panic and start making fast-paced phone calls to everyone I could think of to say good-bye. And yet, I also see the benefit in being able to notify family of a loved one's impending death. Either way, this is eerie!

It sounds like by the time Oscar comes to visit they're pretty well gone anyway. Very interesting article - especially that the families are grateful for the advance warning and chance to say good-by.
This was almost the lead story on every newscast today. Eerie, yes, yet somehow very comforting. Also, don't you wonder if Oscar is a reincarnation of a very caring soul?
Animals have such uncanny abilities. Well, some animals, anyway...
I agree with Larramie--there's comfort there.
Another friend sent me the link to this story. Fascinating. But I truly believe animals are very in tune with humans.
This is one cat I would want to avoid.
